Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it!
~Confusius~

I sadly lost my lovely ouma (grandma), just before we left to come back to South Africa. She was a lovely women and I did learn a lot from her.

My mum has cleared her house and I have received lots of lovely old things that reminds me of her. I will take photo's in the next few weeks to show you, as
each of them has a little story and something I remember about her.

This Lord Nelson Elijah Cotton Jug, dates back from 1940's, so not sure where my ouma got it from, but she used to serve custard in it!!! She always had pudding for lunch, doesn't matter if she had people over or not. There was always pudding and she would have started preparing it before she prepared the main meal.

I just love the jug so much and it has got a special place between my other china.

Have a lovely week and I'll try my best to upload more from now on!!!
